Pastor Travis was called to Grace July 2017. He is originally from Kansas City, MO. He was raised “nominally Baptist,” but became a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Kansas City, MO at the age of 14 and was baptized as a young adult. After completing high school, he attended Concordia University—Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Behavioral Science with a minor in Theology, and graduating in May of 2013. Travis went on to attend seminary at Concordia Seminary—St. Louis, graduating in May of 2017.

Travis is also in the United States Air Force. He enjoys military life and loves the opportunity to interact with people from various backgrounds. He loves community engagement, and has previously served as both a police chaplain and fire chaplain.

Travis is married to Amy (since 2015). They enjoy spending time with their dog, Samantha, as well as running, adventuring, binge watching Netflix, and traveling.
